The Comfort Care Pressure Reduction Mattress is designed for general use in hospitals, long term care facilities and clinics. It provides the patient with comfort and support. The foam core has a super-soft heel section to help reduce the risk of sores. Derby incorporates SRT (Strut Reinforcing Technology) Foam Technology for increased durability and patient support. Comfort Care Mattresses feature a 2-layer multi-zone core construction. The top cover is a soft 70 denier nylon fabric. 100% sealed seams (no stitching on the outside of the cover) extend the life of the mattress, block fluids from wicking inside the mattress, and reduce the potential of unpleasant odors.
