The Premier Care Pressure Reduction Mattress has been developed specifically for acute care and long term care facilities. It is recommended for patients who are often immobile and at risk of developing decubitus pressure ulcers. Derby incorporates SRT (Strut Reinforcing Technology) Foam Technology for increased durability and patient support. Premier Care Mattresses feature a 3-layer multi-zone core construction. The top cover is a multi-directional stretch, polyurethane coated Dartex® fabric. 100% sealed seams (no stitching on the outside of the cover) extend the life of the mattress, block fluids from wicking inside the mattress, and reduce the potential of unpleasant odors.
